Menus and Toolbars
The Waidok application has a well-organized toolbar and drop-down menus that provide easy access to the most commonly used functions. The main components of these elements and how to interact with them are described below.
1. Top Navigation Bar
- Logo and Application Name:
This logo allows quick access to the Dashboard from any section of the Waidok platform, making it easy to return to the application's home page efficiently.
- Search Bar:
From here, it is possible to locate and manage various elements within Waidok, such as documents, tasks and files. In addition, you can access the advanced search option, which allows you to perform more detailed and specific queries within the application, such as searches by date, collections, templates, properties, among other criteria.
- Notifications and Alerts:
In this section you can view the notifications generated within the Waidok platform. These are classified into two categories: General Notifications and Task Notifications. Clicking on any notification will redirect the user to the specific source or cause of that notification.
- User Menu:
In this menu, the user can select the language in which he/she wishes to work within the Waidok platform.
2. Side Navigation Panel
- Dashboard:
This icon takes you directly to the main dashboard, where you can see a summary of your recent activities, documents and notifications. It is the ideal starting point for navigating through the application.
- Document Explorer:
From here, you can access all the functions related to document management. It includes options such as "Upload Document", "View Documents", and "Categorize Documents". This menu displays the available document categories and subcategories.
- Files:
It displays, in a new frame, the display of the name of the files in each of the collections and their hierarchical order, as well as the possibility of browsing through the files by the name of each collection. This allows you to view the documents contained in each of the files.
- Forms:Custom Forms in Waidok are dynamic templates that you can create and configure (fields, titles, descriptions) to capture specific information. Once generated, they are easily integrated into your workflows, allowing you to send, collect and process data in a structured way within the platform.
- Tasks:
This menu allows you to manage all the tasks related to the documents and projects you are working on. You can create new tasks, assign them to other users, and keep track of current tasks.
- Inbox:
It allows to check the documents that the user has uploaded to the application, either through manual upload or automatic upload, by selecting any of the inboxes. It also allows the preview of those documents that are selected in the "documents" or "inboxes" area .
- Consoles:
It shows the status of the documents that are already inserted in the application, those that are in conflict for some incorrect action, how the documents are in the automatic inboxes and the status of the digital signature flows, showing results by combining statuses, locations and predefined time periods. For the visualization of the resulting documents it is possible to use the grid or list option.
3. Toolbar
- New Button:
This button is located on the top toolbar and allows you to create new documents, tasks or users, depending on the context you are in.
- Filter and Search Tools:
To the right of the toolbar, you will find options to filter and search for content within the application. Filters can be customized according to specific criteria such as date, category, or assigned user.
- View Options:
The toolbar includes buttons to change the document or task list view. You can toggle between a list view, a grid view, or a detailed view that shows more information about each item.
- Quick Actions:
Depending on the module you are in, you will see "Quick Actions" options that allow you to perform common tasks immediately, such as "Download", "Delete", or "Export" documents or selected tasks.
4. Context menu
- Quick Access to Specific Functionalities:
Clicking on the three dots (. . . ) in a document, task, or user displays a context menu that offers additional options such as "Edit", "Duplicate", "Move to", or "View Properties". This menu adapts to the selected item and provides a quick way to perform actions without navigating through the main menus.
5. Notification Bar
- Real Time Notifications:
The notification bar, located at the top right of the interface, provides real-time alerts on relevant activities, such as the assignment of new tasks, document modifications or internal messages between users. It is important to note that this bar only appears when a notification is generated and should not be confused with the notifications and alerts menu, represented by a bell icon in the same location.
